My name is Shay and I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle! Working out, eating well, and sneaking a piece of chocolate every now and then (more now than then) is my life. I live a really good life. I'm happy!

 I am a very well rounded individual. I am nerd, an athlete, a student, a daughter, and a friend. 

I am actually a Canadian living a little American town called Rexburg. It is a pretty insane shift from the beautiful city of Toronto, to the little cute town of Rexburg, but I love both! 

People often ask me what got me into fitness. Honestly, I remember one day just looking in the mirror and not being happy with how I looked. So, I bought a gym membership and got to work. For me, I was luck because my dad is a gym rat. He trained me, but had he not been there I wouldn't know what to do. (WOOHOO SHOUT OUT TO FIT DADS).

I thought about how someone begins their journey to become active and the questions that arise. What about if you needed that information, that boost, that helping hand? Well, I want to be that helping hand.

  1. Hey, the problem for me is not starting. The problem for me is committing lol. I tend to get carried away with other things and I keep putting off going to the gym once I start. But what you are suggesting seems easy enough, I will let you know how it works out lol.

    1. Team up with a friend and track each other! I find that is a great way to motivate yourself and keep you on the right path. Good luck and I hope to help you further.
